The facts, before anything else
Why Saket Guests Drive Out for the Banya
Saket is one of the better-supplied parts of Delhi for wellness. Between the mall cluster, the hotels around it and the residential blocks, a competent hour-long massage is never far away, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise.
So the case for travelling to Mahipalpur is narrow and specific. Russian Spa runs a genuine Banya — sustained heat, birch venik work, a proper cool rinse, paced by a Russian-tradition team — and there is nothing equivalent inside Saket or the surrounding neighbourhoods. If that is what you are after, the drive out is the only way to get it.
If what you actually want is a good deep tissue session or a relaxing hour, you would be spending your evening in traffic for something you can book five minutes from home. We would rather say that plainly than argue you out of it.

The Banya has no Saket equivalent
Steam rooms exist locally. A paced heat-venik-rinse cycle run by someone trained in it does not — that is the single treatment worth the journey.
Book something the journey justifies
Given the drive, the treatments worth choosing are the ones Saket cannot supply.

Russian Banya (Classic)
The reason to come. Ninety minutes of paced heat and venik work, with a cool rinse between rounds.

Russian Banya (Premium)
Two hours with extended cycles and a longer rest — the weekend version, when the drive back is not on a clock.

Hot Stone + Banya
Basalt stones with a shortened steam cycle, for guests who want the heat element without a full Banya.

Couples Banya
A private Banya for two — the booking most Saket couples make when they travel out for an occasion.

The narrow case for making the trip
The Banya has no Saket equivalent
Steam rooms exist locally. A paced heat-venik-rinse cycle run by someone trained in it does not — that is the single treatment worth the journey.
The hours are different
Saket's wellness centres largely close in the evening. If your free time is genuinely late, we are open through the night at unchanged rates.
Parking is not a fight
Anyone who has circled the Saket mall car parks on a weekend will appreciate that ours is on-site and unremarkable.
Saket, and what the drive out involves
Saket sits at the southern end of South Delhi, anchored by the Select Citywalk and DLF mall cluster, the district courts, and a dense band of residential blocks. It is served by Saket station on the Yellow Line and by the Outer Ring Road along its northern side.
Mahipalpur is in South West Delhi — a different district — on the NH-48 corridor near the airport. The usual route is the Outer Ring Road westwards towards Dhaula Kuan and then onto the highway corridor.
That is a real journey rather than a hop, and it is materially affected by the hour. Guests who come regularly from Saket tend to do it late evening or at weekends, when the Ring Road behaves.
No hidden charges. Ever.
Around Saket
Neighbouring South Delhi areas whose guests use much the same route.
Malviya Nagar
Directly north on the Yellow Line, sharing the same approach to the Ring Road.
Hauz Khas
Further up the Yellow Line, with a better metro interchange.
Green Park
North again towards the AIIMS junction.
South Delhi
The district page, if you are comparing across the whole area.
Mehrauli
South-west of Saket, closer to the Ring Road exit towards the highway.
Chhatarpur
Beyond Saket on the southern edge, using the same corridor out.
From Saket to Mahipalpur
One main route, with the hour mattering more than the distance.
By road
Outer Ring Road westwards towards Dhaula Kuan, then onto the NH-48 corridor and into Defence Enclave, Mahipalpur.
Timing
Peak-hour Ring Road traffic is the deciding variable. Late evening and weekends are noticeably easier.
By metro
Yellow Line from Saket towards New Delhi, then the Airport Express to Delhi Aerocity and a short cab. Workable, but longer than driving.
Parking
On-site, at all hours.
