Not a spa that borrowed the word ‘Russian’.

We opened in 2014 because every place in Delhi that called itself a Russian spa was offering oil massage with a Russian-sounding name. We wanted the real thing — and we built it.

● Our Story

How started — and why it still matters.

We opened because every place in Delhi that called itself a Russian spa was just offering oil massage with a Russian-sounding name. We wanted the real thing — the Banya, the venik, the correct temperature, the full ritual. Our founders trained directly. Not in a course, not from a YouTube video. They spent time in the tradition and brought it back.

The first year was just us and a handful of Russians who lived in Delhi and were desperate for a proper Banya. They became regulars. Then their colleagues. Then their hotel contacts started sending guests. That’s how started — not with marketing, but with people telling other people.

Ten years later, that word-of-mouth still makes up the majority of new bookings. We have never run a discount campaign. We have never bought fake reviews. We have just kept doing the same thing we started with — running a genuinely good spa and letting the work speak for itself. You can see current, transparent pricing for every treatment on our pricing page — there is nothing quoted here that changes at the counter.

● Mission, Vision & Values

What we’re actually trying to do.

Not corporate language — three plain statements about why we exist and how we operate day to day.

● Mission

Give Delhi a real Banya.

Our mission is to give Delhi NCR a Russian Banya that Russian guests themselves recognise as authentic, and to give every other guest a therapist who is properly trained in the exact technique they book — not a rebranded oil rub sold under a Russian-sounding name.

● Vision

Stay the reference point, not the biggest name.

We don’t aim to be the largest spa chain in the city. Our vision is to remain the place guests in Mahipalpur, Aerocity, and across Delhi NCR trust enough to walk in without checking reviews first — the way our earliest guests did in 2014.

● Values

Train first. Price honestly. No shortcuts.

Every therapist is trained and certified before touching a client. Linens are changed after every single session. Pricing stays published and transparent on our pricing page. We have never bought a review or run a discount stunt to fake demand.

● Russian Banya Heritage

The tradition we built this spa around.

The Banya is a long-standing tradition of communal steam bathing in Russian culture — a ritual, not a spa treatment invented for tourists. A wooden steam room is heated with dry heat to a high, correct temperature. In our Banya, that means around 80°C, held steady rather than guessed at.

Once the body has warmed properly, a venik — a bundle of birch branches — is used to gently beat and brush the skin. This is not decorative. It stimulates circulation and is a core part of the ritual, not an optional add-on. Sessions move through steam and venik work in cycles, each one followed by a cold plunge or cold rinse that closes the cycle before the next one begins.

In Russian households and public bathhouses, the Banya has historically been as much a social occasion as a hygiene practice — a place people visit together, not alone. We built our Banya at to hold onto that correctly, rather than diluting it into a generic steam room with a Russian-sounding name, which is what led our founders to train directly in the tradition in the first place.

● Our Journey

From 2014 to today.

No dramatic pivots — just steady growth from one Banya and a handful of regulars to a full operation running 24/7.

2014

Russian Spa opens in Mahipalpur

Our founders train directly in the Banya tradition and open at Defence Enclave, Mahipalpur, adjoining Aerocity — determined to offer a real Banya rather than an oil massage with a Russian name.

Early years

Russian expats become our first regulars

Russians living and working in Delhi, unable to find a proper Banya anywhere else in the city, become our earliest and most consistent guests.

Word spreads

Referrals begin — without any advertising

Regulars tell their colleagues. Hotel contacts near Aerocity start sending guests our way. No discount campaigns, no paid promotions — just people telling other people.

Two teams form

Russian-tradition and Indian-certified therapists join

As demand grows, we build out two distinct, properly trained teams — Russian-tradition therapists for the Banya and Russian massage, and Indian therapists certified in Swedish, Thai, and deep tissue.

Becoming a stopover

A regular stop for Aerocity hotel guests and travellers

Our location near IGI Airport and Aerocity turns into a natural stop for business travellers, tourists, and hotel guests before or after flights.

Today

10+ years in, 350+ verified reviews, open 24/7

We are still at the same Mahipalpur address, still built around the same Banya, and still growing mostly through word of mouth rather than marketing.

● What Makes Us Different

Four things no other spa in Delhi can match.

These are not marketing claims. They are specific, verifiable facts about how we operate.

🪵

Actual Banya — not just steam

Most places calling themselves a Russian spa have a steam room. We have a Banya. That means birch venik, correct dry-heat temperature, plunge cycle, and staff who understand the ritual. Guests from Russia will confirm the difference on their first visit.

🎓

Certified therapists — not on-the-job learning

Every therapist holds credentials in the technique they practice. Swedish, deep tissue, Thai, Banya — all trained and certified before they touch a client. We don't rotate staff while they figure it out on your back.

🕐

24/7 operation — not 10am–8pm like most

We are open right now. 3am flight, post-shift at midnight, pre-meeting relaxation at 6am — same therapists, same rooms, same pricing. No reduced service at odd hours. We built the operation to run properly at all times.

📍

Mahipalpur — not a 45-minute drive

We are in Defence Enclave, Mahipalpur, adjoining Aerocity. Five minutes from Terminal 3, eight from Terminal 1. Free parking on site. Guests from Aerocity hotels can be here in under ten minutes by cab. No wasting an hour getting to a spa.

● Our Therapists

Trained. Certified. Actually good at this.

We have two distinct teams — Russian-tradition therapists who bring the Banya and Eastern European massage techniques, and Indian therapists certified in Swedish, Thai, and deep tissue. No one on either team is learning on the job. See the full treatment menu for what each team offers.

🇷🇺
● Russian Tradition

Russian Therapists

Trained in St. Petersburg and Moscow tradition. They bring the Banya ritual — venik technique, temperature management, the plunge cycle — as it is actually practiced, not a reinterpretation of it. Guests from Russia have confirmed to us, repeatedly, that the Banya here is the real thing.

● Indian Certified Therapists

Indian Therapists

Certified in Swedish, Thai, and deep tissue by accredited institutes. They practice what they were trained in — not a hybrid, not a modified version. If you book a Thai massage you get Thai massage. If you book deep tissue you get proper therapeutic pressure.

Swedish massage — classical five-stroke technique
Thai massage — traditional pressure point technique
Deep tissue — sports and therapeutic level

● How We Train & Vet Our Team

Experience, training, certification, and safety.

Four things we hold every therapist to, regardless of which team they belong to.

01

Therapist Experience

Our therapists range from a few years of hands-on practice to close to a decade in their specific technique. Every therapist works full-time on the modality they were trained in — none are generalists asked to cover whatever is booked that day.

02

Training Standards

Before working independently with a guest, every therapist completes a structured training period under a senior therapist covering technique, hygiene protocol, and client communication — the same standard for our Russian-tradition team and our Indian team.

03

Certification Process

Each therapist is certified in the specific modality they practice — Swedish, Thai, deep tissue, aromatherapy, hot stone, reflexology, or Russian Banya and massage tradition — before being placed on the floor. We don’t cross-train a Swedish specialist to cover a Thai booking.

04

Safety Standards

Every guest is asked about medical conditions, injuries, or pregnancy before a Banya or massage session, and treatment is adjusted accordingly. Linens are changed after every single session, and every treatment takes place in a private, lockable room.

Step 4 · Afterwards

Relaxation lounge before you leave

A quiet lounge to sit, rehydrate, and let the treatment settle before you head back out — part of the visit, not an afterthought.

● Our Philosophy

Why customers keep coming back.

We built around one idea: run a genuinely good spa and let the work speak for itself. That means no discount campaigns to manufacture demand, no purchased reviews to inflate credibility, and no reduced service at 3am to cut corners. The same standard applies at every hour, every day, all year — including public holidays.

It also means being straightforward about cost. Every treatment is priced and published on our pricing page — what you see is what you pay, with no last-minute additions at checkout. If you have a question before visiting, our contact page has directions, hours, and a direct line to reach us any time.

💬

Word of mouth, not advertising

Most new guests still arrive because someone else told them to — the same way our first regulars found us in 2014.

No fake reviews, ever

350+ verified reviews, built up naturally over 10+ years. We have never paid for a review or run a campaign to inflate that number.

Transparent pricing

Rates are published on our pricing page, not hidden behind a phone call or revealed only at the counter.

🕐

The same standard, every hour

Open 24/7, all public holidays, with the same therapists, rooms, and pricing at any hour you walk in.

● Community & Local Presence

Part of Mahipalpur and Aerocity, genuinely.

We sit in Defence Enclave, Mahipalpur, adjoining Aerocity — a location that puts us close to IGI Airport, Delhi’s business district around Aerocity, and residential Mahipalpur itself. That mix shapes who walks through our door: local residents booking a regular massage, business travellers passing through Delhi NCR, and tourists arriving or departing via IGI Airport.

A large share of our guests are staying at hotels near Aerocity — including guests referred through our hotel outreach at properties such as Pullman New Delhi Aerocity, JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, and Roseate House Aerocity. For guests coming from further across the city, our Spa in Delhi, Spa in Dwarka, and Spa in Vasant Kunj pages cover directions specific to those areas.

● Recognition

We don’t have an awards wall. We have repeat guests.

We haven’t chased industry awards, and we don’t claim any. The recognition that actually matters to us is simpler: guests who first visited years ago and still call ahead of a flight, hotel contacts near Aerocity who keep sending travellers our way, and Russian guests who tell us, unprompted, that the Banya here is the real thing.

350+ verified reviews over 10+ years is the recognition we’ve chosen to build toward — earned one genuine visit at a time, without a marketing budget behind it.

Our earliest regular guests, from our first year in 2014, were Russian expats living in Delhi who came specifically because they could not find a proper Banya anywhere else in the city. A Banya is a traditional Russian steam-bathing ritual: a dry-heat steam room heated to a high temperature, gentle beating with a bundle of birch branches (a venik) to stimulate circulation once the body has warmed, followed by a cold plunge or rinse — usually repeated across a few cycles.
We ask every guest about medical conditions, pregnancy, or concerns before a Banya or massage session, and therapists adjust or advise against certain treatments where appropriate. If in doubt, mention your condition when you call ahead or on arrival.
Our Russian Banya session runs at a correct traditional dry-heat temperature — around 80°C for the classic session — which is a meaningfully different experience from a standard hotel steam room.
