First-time visitors sometimes mix up Mahipalpur, Aerocity and Vasant Kunj since they sit so close together on the map. Mahipalpur is the older, established neighbourhood immediately south-west of IGI Airport, where Defence Enclave and our spa are located. Aerocity is the newer hospitality district built right next to it, home to most of the airport-area hotels. Vasant Kunj is a separate residential and retail area a little further out, on the other side of the Delhi–Gurgaon corridor. Taxi Information
Pre-paid taxi counters are available at IGI Airport arrivals (all three terminals) — a straightforward, fixed-process option straight off a flight. Simply tell the counter or driver “Defence Enclave, Mahipalpur”.
App-based cabs — Ola and Uber — work well throughout Mahipalpur, Aerocity, Vasant Kunj, Dwarka and Gurgaon, and are usually the easiest way to reach us if you’re coming from further across the city. We don’t quote fares for these routes since they vary with distance, traffic and surge pricing — your app will show the estimate before you confirm.
Local autos are common around Mahipalpur and Aerocity for short hops, such as the 3-minute run from Aerocity Metro station (roughly ₹30–50).
Public Transport
The Delhi Metro Airport Express (Orange Line) connects directly to Aerocity station, a short auto or cab ride from our door. From other parts of Delhi, interchange onto the Orange Line at New Delhi or Dhaula Kuan station.
If you’re travelling from Gurgaon, Dwarka, Vasant Kunj or South Delhi, a combination of metro plus a short cab for the last stretch is usually more predictable than driving the whole way during peak traffic hours.

Because we’re open every hour of every day, plenty of our guests travel late at night or very early in the morning — after a red-eye landing, before a dawn flight, or simply because that’s when they have free time. Pre-paid taxi counters and app-based cabs both operate around the clock at IGI Airport, and the roads into Mahipalpur are generally quiet outside peak hours, which often makes night-time journeys quicker than the daytime estimates above.
