Paharganj, the station, and the line
Paharganj sits immediately west of New Delhi railway station in central Delhi — the main bazaar running through it, and a dense concentration of budget accommodation serving rail travellers and backpackers.
New Delhi station is the origin of the Airport Express Line, which runs south-west via Shivaji Stadium and Dhaula Kuan to Delhi Aerocity and on to IGI Airport Terminal 3. Our premises in Mahipalpur sit beside the Aerocity stop.
That makes this one of the simplest connections in the city on paper. The catch is the hour: if you have arrived before the line starts running, a cab down the NH-48 corridor is the alternative.
