The facts, before anything else
The Banya at the Delhi End of NH-48
Gurgaon has plenty of spas, most of them attached to hotels or built into the corporate belt around Cyber City and Golf Course Road. What it does not have is a Russian Banya, and that is the only real reason to point a Gurgaon search towards Delhi at all.
Russian Spa is in Mahipalpur, which sits at the Delhi end of NH-48 — the same highway Gurgaon uses to reach the airport and the city. That is the whole geography: you are not crossing Delhi, you are running up the road you already commute on, and stopping just before the airport.
In practice most Gurgaon guests do not make a dedicated trip. They attach it to something — a flight out of IGI, a meeting in Aerocity, a drive back from central Delhi — because Mahipalpur is on the way to all three. That is a more honest description of how it works than pretending it is a local option.
The other draw is the hour. Gurgaon's corporate schedules run long, and a spa that is open at midnight is more useful than one with a better location and a 9pm close.

Why this works for a Gurgaon schedule
It is on a road you already use
Mahipalpur sits on the NH-48 corridor just before the airport. If you are heading to IGI, Aerocity or central Delhi, we are on the route rather than a detour off it.
No Delhi traffic to cross
The journey ends before the city proper. You do not touch the Ring Road or central Delhi at any point, which is what makes the timing predictable.
Open after a long day
Corporate hours in Gurgaon rarely end when a spa does. We are open every hour, so a session after a late finish is normal rather than exceptional.
Gurgaon, Gurugram, and the state line
Gurgaon — officially Gurugram — is in Haryana rather than Delhi, and the boundary sits along the NH-48 corridor between the city and Delhi's south-western edge. Crossing it is unremarkable in practice; the highway runs straight through.
The city's commercial weight is concentrated around Cyber City, Udyog Vihar and the Golf Course Road corridor, all of which feed onto NH-48 heading towards Delhi. Mahipalpur is the first substantial Delhi locality after that crossing, which is why it functions as a natural stopping point.
We are also close to the airport, and a large share of Gurgaon's travel runs through IGI. For guests with an evening flight, an hour in Mahipalpur beforehand is a considerably better use of the buffer than the terminal.

By road
NH-48 towards Delhi and the airport. Turn off into Defence Enclave, Mahipalpur, before the airport approach — the spa sits off the service road on the Aerocity side.
Attached to an airport run
Mahipalpur is before IGI on this route, so a session slots in ahead of a flight without backtracking.
By metro
Yellow Line from Gurgaon runs into Delhi, but the connection to the Airport Express at New Delhi station makes it a long way round. Driving is simpler.
