It runs hotter, it follows a sequence rather than being something you sit in, and the birch venik — a bundle of leafy branches used to work heat into the skin — is central to it rather than decorative. Between rounds there is a genuine cool rinse. Done properly, the whole cycle takes around ninety minutes and it feels nothing like a sauna.

The venik is the point
Birch branches are used to move heat into the muscle and skin. A Banya without venik work is missing the technique that defines it, not just an accessory.
Someone has to be trained in it
The cycle is paced by a person reading how you are handling the heat. Ours is run by therapists trained in the ritual itself, who also hold certification across the massage menu.

NH-48 is the spine. From central Delhi it runs out past Dhaula Kuan; from Gurgaon it runs in. Defence Enclave sits off the service road on the Aerocity side.
By metro
The Airport Express Line from New Delhi station runs via Shivaji Stadium, Dhaula Kuan, Delhi Aerocity and IGI Airport Terminal 3. Aerocity is the closest station, finished with a short cab ride.
