The West Delhi Way Round, Avoiding the Centre
Most people in Paschim Vihar assume that getting to the airport side of the city means going through the middle of it. It does not, and that assumption is what makes this journey seem worse than it is.
The better route runs south — down through the western edge of the city towards Dwarka, and then onto the NH-48 corridor towards Mahipalpur, where Russian Spa is. It avoids central Delhi entirely, which is the part that turns a manageable drive into an hour of stopping and starting.
West Delhi is not short of massage centres, so the reason to make the trip is the same as everywhere outside our immediate area: the Russian Banya, which has no local equivalent. If that is not what you are after, your own neighbourhood is a better bet, and we would rather say so.

Worth the drive down
Given the journey, the longer formats make more sense than a quick session.

The routing is the whole point
Go south, not east
Heading towards central Delhi and then out again doubles the difficult part of the journey. The southbound route via the Dwarka side skips it.
Two metro options, neither direct
The Green Line east or a connection towards the Blue Line and Dwarka both work, but each involves changes. For this trip driving is usually simpler.
The Banya is the reason
West Delhi has massage centres. It does not have a working Banya, which is the only thing that genuinely justifies leaving your own area.
Paschim Vihar and the western edge
Paschim Vihar is a large residential area in West Delhi, served by the Green Line, with Punjabi Bagh to its east and the Rohtak Road corridor running through the wider district.
Our premises are to the south, in Mahipalpur off the NH-48 corridor in South West Delhi. Between the two sits Dwarka, which is the key to the route — heading down the western side of the city rather than in towards the centre.
That southbound run also connects onward to the airport, which is why guests from this side often fold a visit into an airport trip rather than making a dedicated one.

By road, the good way
South down the western side of the city past the Dwarka area, then onto the NH-48 corridor into Mahipalpur. Central Delhi is avoided entirely.
By road, the obvious way
East towards central Delhi and then south-west via Dhaula Kuan. Longer and slower at almost every hour — worth avoiding.
By metro
Green Line with a change towards the Blue Line and Dwarka, then the Airport Express from Dwarka Sector 21 to Delhi Aerocity. Several changes, but it works.
